Comic strip warning about the dangers of too much "World of Warcraft" Posted: 2 years ago by BrownTrout
Hilarious modification of an old comic strip warning about too much WoW! The more I see stuff like this, the more tempted I am to check the game out (so I can mock it myself).

Awesome. I love the woman's face turning a flat, all-over red when she threatens to reroll an alliance, whatever that means.
I was considering playing - I used to play D&D when I was younger, preinternet - then a guy at work described his female night elf spellcaster which he had to make carry things because otherwise she had a disturbingly animated sexy walk. That killed my interest right there.

I would suggest you give it a try anyway...you would be hooked pretty quick. Best game I have ever played.

Its definitely a game that addicts people. I play, but am not a total game head. I am known to take long breaks from it. I am the type who can be in the midst of a quest, and just stop and log.... other people i know, would consider that a sin

as far as mmorpgs go WoW is easy, and amazingly popular. Not the best game I've played by far but good for people who haven't played that sort of game before. Very cartoony graphics, over balanced rather bland characters with lil to distinguish one char from another. The recent expansion raised the lvl cap 10 lvls and added an elf to the horde side(badguys) and a big blue ....thing to the alliance side(goodguys), point is that seems to be the business model we can look forward to. as their numbers start to drop they'll ramp up the adverts for a new expansion and suck people back in .. until they get bored again , rinse repeat. my fav mmorpg would havta be Shadowbane, way more complex and interesting than wow.
