I totally agree with you, but it's interesting to see how people react when the tables are turned. They don't think about how the other person feels when they push their beliefs on them.

keep in mind that they get brownie points toward heaven for going on a "mission". Also, they firmly believe that they are right and they are saving you. Your comfort and feelings do not matter, as they are products of your damned soul and they must save you.

I really liked the very christian response of "beat you with my cane".

Being a catholic that married a mormon, I am the first house they hit when a new mission hits town. They need to save me and convince me I am dragging my poor wife, children, and now grandchildren, directly to the depths of hell.
