The site got started in 2002, as a parody of poorly made websites of smaller towns in Finland. It has pretty much everything a real town website would have - from local event information to opening hours of the clinic and a zoomable map. It's actually a first page hit on Google.fi for the search term "kunta" (town), and not uncommon sight as a stated location on Finnish forums. The Inglish summary is probably more understandable than some I've come across on real sites.
