8 glasses a day is way too much for me. I'll feel sick if I were to drink 8 glasses.

I didn't used to, but new medications make me THIRSTY! I drink bottled for the taste, and because flouride is bad for me. Cold is best of course, but we average 95 degrees in May!

One nurse I know told me of a plan that says drink 1/2 of your weight in ounces EACH day! So the 8 glasses thing works for me if they more than 12 oz glasses! I drink about 4 or 5 of the small bottles.

We've stopped drinking soda and gatorade every day, and drink mainly water and sometimes fruit juice at home, and soda when we go out. Hubby has lost 35 pounds since Feb!

I also found drinking water would relieve the niacin flush when I had to take that evil pill!
