John Wayne was true grit! I was reading some trivia about him. It said he used to smoke 5 packs of Camels a day - wonderful actor but it's no surprise he died of lung cancer.

John Wayne and 90 other cast members out of 220 filming The Conqueror got some form of cancer. 41 including "The Duke" died from it. The Howard Hughes movie was filmed near one of Nevada's nuclear test sites
