She's the same kind of demented scum that would argue an attractive woman wearing flattering clothes "brought it on herself."
Honestly, certain arguments should call for an automatic disbarring. If one can't present a case without grasping at such ridiculous ideas, they have no business being a lawyer.

Kevin This is exactly what i thought, it reminded me of the story in which the lawyers said it was the women's fault because she was alone with an unrelated man. Rape is definitely one of the worst crimes in my mind, that might sound...strange, but i am not sure if it is "worse" or "better" that murder.

Simply because you most likely end up reliving it in your mind daily and it would certainly affect your ability to trust or feel safe in most situations again.
Murder definitely leaves a lasting effect on those who knew the victim, but at least the one killed (as far as we know) doesn't suffer after the fact.

Naaaaaaa. If they did, they should definitely be disbarred for incompetence.
The headline took the statement out of context, the next line by the lawyer was:
'It is all too unrealistic that sexual encounters between boys and girls who have never met before must be against the girls' will.
It is the standard "It was consensual" line. Still wrong, but pretty standard stuff.
BTW Hyper, pick an AV, any AV. A 2 karma is pretty old to be running around naked like that.
