The zip codes are supposed to facilitate federal delivery of the mail - not to be parceled out as marketing gimmicks. <br/><br/>Seems to defeat the whole purpose of the +4 zip.</i></div>That's what I thought too when I saw it was a +4 zip code. A lot of buildings in NYC have their own 5 digit zip code. The WTC was 10048 and 10047 if I remember correctly.
