Seems to defeat the whole purpose of the +4 zip.That's what I thought too when I saw it was a +4 zip code. A lot of buildings in NYC have their own 5 digit zip code. The WTC was 10048 and 10047 if I remember correctly. The +4 is great because it directs you to an exact building within a zip code.

I've heard they're considering selling ad space on USPS vehicles, too. Your mail might soon be brought in a truck covered in Jimmy Dean Sausages on one side and Tampax products on the other.
