I'm still amazed that we basically feed pigs nothing but rot, scraps and garbage...yet people still eat pork. If water, seaweed & salt are the most suspect things in my chicken, I think I can live with that.

It's obvious they're doing it to charge more based on weight, but there's nothing you can buy anymore that isn't built on a similar tactic.

For a good example, look at cans of coffee. Used to be a can of coffee was a pound/16 oz. Then 13 oz, 11.5 oz, and now my current can is 10.5 oz. Price pretty much the same, can same size. That's a ripoff.

Wouldn't be fresh. California grown. Most states have a good "in state" poultry company(except maybe Alaska).

<sigh> I know. I love coffee, can't live without it. I've noticed the different ways in which they rape us on it (w/out even factoring in Starbucks)...but yet I pay. I pay for my caffeinated crack addication every day.
