When does Scientology get into there little head that freedom of speech is higher then freedom of religion ?

Please do not use the words Scientology and religion in the same sentence, unless it is this sentence:

Scientology was made up by a writer on a bet to make money; it is not a religion.

Sorry, I missed the part of the Bill of Rights that assigned rankings to the clauses of each amendment. Perhaps you are privy to this information?

I am just siding with the Constitution, not the scientologists.

Freedom of religion is about being able to choose your own religion... it does not say you cannot make fun of other religions.

True. But keep in mind that an argument about making fun of a religion is not a "Freedom of religion" issue (no matter how much they try to say it is). That doesn't mean free speech is more important, just that it is the one that applies here.

A "religion" is technically any system of beliefs that include the beliefs of either the human soul, a higher being, or some sort of after-life. Taking this into account, Scientology is just as much of a religion as Christianity, Buddhism, or anything else. Just because one has more followers does not make the other one not a religion. Personally, I believe every religion was made up by someone for some sort of personal gain.
