11 Movies Saved by Historical Inaccuracy
11 Movies Saved by Historical Inaccuracy
Hollywood pumps out “historical” epics so distorted, you have to wonder just how stupid they think we are. But, try “fixing” some of those historical inaccuracies and you'll realize what screenwriters have known for years: History is lame. Here are 11 movies that make us glad no one gives a damn about trivial things like “what actually happened.” picked by muppet 1 year ago

I think a lot of those movies on the list, however, aren't claiming to be historically accurate. Especially #1 and #3, I don't think anyone went into "A Space Odyssey" with the expectation of seeing an historic drama.

I don't even think the article is totally accurate, let alone the movies.
I mean, if you read between the lines even a little bit you'll figure out that William Wallace was a noble in the movie. I don't think most people would believe that your average Scottish farmer at that time could speak French and Latin like he did in the flick.
There were other things, but I'm afraid if I go on I'll sound like even more of a movie nerd.
