Inmate freed 36 years early by mistake, uses opportunity to apologize to his victim
Before being re-arrested, Willie Joe McAdams approached his victim in a bar, shook his hand, and apologized for shooting him in the head. Still no "Sad" category. picked by ReBoot 1 year ago

I guess the apology is going to help him when he comes up for parole in sixteen years.

I think that apology is a wonderful step towards his redemption. I hope he was geniune in his actions, and hope that when he does get out he is able to join society and function as one should. Good luck to both of them.

He should have bought the guy a beer while he was there, too.

I think his sentence should be shortened.

Without a doubt, a commendable act on his part but I wonder what he would have done if he knew he was going to be re-arrested within days of being released?

Methinks the victim would have gotten a postcard instead.
