then again, maybe it is because there is no such thing as rap *music*. There is "rap speaking in rhythm" but no music talent or skill is needed.

A "douchebag" theory ... how very insightful. Rap music is a young genre, it's in a much needed slump right now and hopefully it'll return to its roots with a new found wisdom and good ol' bangin' beats. I have faith in it.
