'Compliment machine' praises pedestrians
We all like being told nice things, so passers-by in an American city will be extra happy, as an artist has installed a machine there to hand out praise. picked by AutumnLotus 1 year ago

Dangerman gives that machine 23 minutes before it's either stolen, spray painted, held for ransom, raped, riddled with buckshot, burned, pissed in or on, sued, or eaten.
I bet it's already gone, wet, dead, pregnant, and/or smoldering.
Bet Dangerman.

It's like a fortune cookie.
And, Dangerman, I am NOT taking that bet.

Wow, so many red flags going up w/ this one.

First of all, why the hell would the city pay for this piece of crap. If they are going to buy 'art', they really should have someone screen these things first.

Next, this 'artist' actually thinks people will be inspired to live up to the compliment they receive if it doesn't apply to them. When I read this I laughed my head off.

Third, if you pass this machine, get a compliment, and actually feel better about yourself as a result; you need to be put into a mental institution. The only exception to this rule is if after receiving the compliment, you perform one of the actions on Danger's list. This not only earns you a good feeling, but a gold star to boot!
