I don't see anything in the article that supports creationism. I'm not denying that this could be the slant of the article, but I think my description stands.

He doesn't seem to be favouring one over the other, in fact that is what he's getting at: he's saying that those who insist that creation cannot coexist with evolution and vice versa, are numbskulls.
