 Total Solar Eclipse Map (2001-2025)
Total Solar Eclipse Map (2001-2025)
If you want to witness a total solar eclipse and you live in Europe, you’re out of luck until at least 2026. Unless you live in one of a few of Europe’s geographical extremities (i.e. Spitsbergen, Nova Zembla, Abkhazia and other parts of eastern Georgia or the southern part of Russia), the astronomical phenomenon will pass you by. picked by Mershaullk 1 year ago

I agree, most depressing. My son (8yo) recently asked about solar eclipses, and I was hoping there would be one sooner-by they time the next one comes, he certainly won't want to be watching it with me.

I want to be in Antarctica in December 2021. An ephemeral darkness in the perpetual daylight would be eerie and incredible.
