I didn't realize it was those people. I saw their show, too, when he was making fun of her stomach after her, like, 12th child, and she had to get a tummy tuck. I thought she looked pretty damn good.

Selfish selfish selfish... do the exponential math on this family alone and they're adding a significant number of humans to an already overpopulated planet in just 3 generations... STERILIZE THEM NOW!!!

I have no problem with families having a large amount of children. However, this family, the older kids are raising the younger kids. The older kids are not only doing chores, they are literally helping run a family. What happend to kids being kids???

That happens with any family where kids are born far apart.

Beautiful family.

I bet none of the children grow up to be gang bangers, murderers or rapists.

I bet Holidays and celebrations are awesome around their house

I bet when trouble or tragedy strikes, they are never alone and always support each other.

That's a nice picture you found ogri.

Beautiful family.

actually, that's a very traditional family. before cities. before the nuclear family. that's how the human race developed.
And in all seriousness, that is part of being a kid. During the early stages, a child is primarily concerned with emulation of adults. They're learning how to function in society. Instead of pretending with dolls, they help with their younger siblings. I helped raise my younger brother when I was young and I felt no loss of childhood, but rather I gained a confidence in dealing with children. No, it's not all consuming, but a little chore time is actually beneficial for a child.

with all the negative attention to large families, talking about "overpopulation," I kinda like to see this. I always give the dad a high five and the mom a nod of respect.

*cough/splutter

That's funny. I was thinking along those lines, but the grocery bag thing is a beautiful graphic addition to an already horrible mental image.
