She thought he was having an affair so she put GPS in the car secretly. His coordinates prove his alibi was a lie, and he has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder. Near my home town...ugh. picked by moe 1 year ago

Why does it seem that so many things happen near your hometown, Moe? Aren't you the one who posted a story about horses being shot or axed or something near you recently, too?

Watch him get off because the GPS data is ruled inadmissible...

Wait, too many questions left unanswered.

1. With whom did the wife suspect he was having an affair with? "Oh, it's ok maam. Your husband wasn't having an affair. He's just a child molester and murderer."

2. Did he just show up at hospital, home, police station, with the body in the trunk, and say I accidentally ran over the baby sitter? Where the hell was this reported from?? Isn't there any evidence at either the alleged or the actual crime scene?

3. According to the GPS, he was with her behind this house for three hours. What was he doing to her and is there no evidence on the body?

4. How frigg'n far away did the babysitter live that he would be gone 3+ hours? The next state over?

This is just f*cked up. Sick b*****d.

Weird - this morning on my drive to work, not having seen this, I was wondering whether info from a satnav could be used to dispute speeding charges. I didn't think of using it to implicate someone.

Back to the matter in hand though, I'm not defending the asshat by any means here, but it strikes me that this evidence is not strong. It puts his car, not him, in a specific location.

In the eyes of a jury, I'd say that him not using his mobile to call for help will carry much more weight.

That, and as Alton points out, the autopsy report.
