Man Invents Machine To Cure Cancer
Man Invents Machine To Cure Cancer
It's a kick-ass cancer cell generator," Kanzius said. His machine basically makes cells act like antennae to pick up a signal and self-destruct. Unlike current cancer treatment, Kanzius' machine does not use radiation. Unlike today's radio-frequency treatments, it's noninvasive. picked by deepchill 1 year ago

Oh, this guy. A snake oil salesman.

He also claims to be able to fuel a car with saltwater and would happily share his work with an energy company except "they will say it doesn't work and shelve it, even if it does work."

Wow - didn't realise it was the same guy as the salt water.

Call me a traditionalist, but of the two phrases:

I'll be submitting my preliminary findings for peer review
and

It's a kick-ass cancer cell generator
I know which one gives me greater confidence.

It works the same way that drinking gasoline kills germs.

I wouldn't write him off so easily.
A) The man himself has heavily invested interest in this project, as he is a patient with severe leukemia himself.

B) The science is very sound, both in the instance of frying a cancer cell and dissassociation of hydrogen and oxygen from water, hydrogen will then burn as long as it is being freed from the existing water. The cancer cells will burn if they have bonded with a nano-conductor.

C) Kanzius never claimed to solve the energy crisis, or claim he'd found a miracle fuel, as he recognizes that at present the process requires more energy than it creates. Still, if nothing else it may be a viable desalinazation technique, with a small energy output, which could possibly feedback in part to power the process itself.

D) Some very well respected names in science and medicine are taking this very seriously. In fact, I've read that the findings (so far) are to be published in the December issue of the journal "Cancer". Richard Smalley, Nobel Prize winner and famed scientist of buckyball notoriety, a major name in nanotechnology, lent his name and resources from Rice University to the project. At the same time, Steven Curley of the MD Anderson Center in Texas, and world renowed Oncologist, is working with the Rice team cooperatively to further develop this technology

This is the most exciting thing I've read about in medicine, ever. We're talking about a tentative revolution in cancer treatment. The quick, effective, and complete eradication of cancer from a subject without chemo or other invasive procedures. Give me a reason NOT to have a great deal of hope that this comes to fruition. Give me a good reason to consider him a snake-oil salesman.

You can call it "cancer in a bucket", and I won't care if it works. His name for the device seems appropriate. The experiments with the water were a byproduct of this research, but are far from the most exciting science being done.

Keep your eyes on this on kids...
