Ya wonder how people get mixed up with these kind of freaks in the first place.....

This is a good time to bring up a book that women and men should read called "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin De Becker.

It is about trusting your gut instinct on people and situations. Our brains kick into "flight or fight" mode and we cannot digest why things don't feel right or seem right to us. We often DISCOUNT our fears, fearing instead that we may insult someone for being afraid, or embarrassing ourselves.

My gut has saved me numerous times. If you listen to it, in its purest form and not try to analzye what you are feeling, your chances of not getting hurt are less.

Not saying this poor gal didn't listen to hers, but the article was pretty vague on how long she was stuck there and how they met.
