The later books in the series wasn't quite as good as the first few, but still it will be a shame that the series may not be finished.

He was dedicated to his writing and his fans, even last week, he was working on the 12th, and supposedly final book in the series, Memory of Light

I have read them all, including the prequel (and the glossy guide) and while I agree that the last few lacked something that hooked the reader in the first, he will be sorely missed. He seemed to be a victim of his own ever expanding story line, too many threads in the pattern to keep up. But the wheel weaves as the wheel wills, you will be missed RJ.
