Busty British tourist barred from casino because of her 'offensive' breasts
A British tourist has been barred from a casino in New Zealand for upsetting fellow punters with her 'offensive' breasts. Thirty-three year old Helen Simpson from Nottingham, was wearing a low-cut black evening dress when a woman staff member at the Christchurch Casino told her to cover up or leave. picked by AutumnLotus 1 year ago

Really.

"Have you ever been shopping for a formal cocktail dress that is accommodating to a size 14 woman with the top half demanding a size 20?"

How about a tailor?

Now stay with me...this is a CHRISTIAN CASINO? What exactly does that mean?

I think ever since the South West girl it has opened a whole new can of beans.

EDIT: Oooops! CHRIST CHURCH....I think I need glasses

Miss Simpson said it was discrimination. "You don't see women with too small boobs being criticised, do you?"

No, but then if they were wearing a low cut dress exposing more than should be they might have been.

Just because someone believes you are exposing yourself too much it doesn't count as discrimination, it counts for good (or bad as the case may be) taste.

You guys must be missing the part that quotes her breasts spewing out extremely offensive ethnic and religious slurs.

Vendors still reserve the right to refuse service. I can't go into the Quicky Mart shirtless and in my socks without getting kicked out. That is how they run business. You might not agree with the businesses policy but it is their right to enforce a dress code.

Imagine if some guy got all uppity and sued the "French Laundry" or some restaurant like it because they insisted he put on a jacket and tie. No, he would just go home and know to dress more appropriately next time.

I think Christchurch is a town in NZ, and I think this may have something to do with my strip club thread.

I just checked the pic in the article and I'd let her "roll my dice" and "pull my handle" HA!!! Can we get a new Leisure Suit Larry Game so I have a repositore for all this euphamistic energy??

*sigh* I must admit that finding anything low cut that doesn't make your boobs look like they're spilling out may be a bit difficult. But when you're attending a CHRISTCHURCH casino how bout covering those puppies up hon?
There's a time and a place for low cut stuff. And yes, if someone with small boobs wore a low cut dress they probably wouldn't get the same attention. That's not a bad thing, that's the goddamn perk of having these huge things. Don't try to spin this around cause you didn't get your way, HO! :D

It's called common sense people. Use it.

Sure, it may be difficult for her to find clothes to fit her frame. It's probably even more difficult to find clothes to expose that much of her breasts without them falling out. She decided on this particular outfit.

Guess she didn't get quite the type of attention she was going for.

Oh, and blurmore is correct. The casino is named after the town, Christchurch. It has nothing to do with an actual church.

I think the correct term would be UNcommon sense. I do agree with you tho, Alton.

I think she was obviously lying when she said it wasn't something she was proud of. You don't wear something that low cut if you're not proud of 'em. But, really, look at the setting. She wasn't walking into a kindergarten class, or going to the supermarket. She was at a casino, so it was presumably an adult setting. I would think most mature adults could deal with some cleavage without whining to management.

"She said I was wearing too low a top, which people found offensive," Miss Simpson said. "I was highly embarrassed - humiliated, absolutely humiliated.
Hmmm ... this reminds me of that one chick that got kicked out of the airplane because of her 'offensive' outfit.

Well, people, if you really truly are 'humiliated', why-oh-why would you go to the press and exacerbate things?!?!? I call BS!

Alton is correct about blurmore being correct about Christchurch being a city in New Zealand.

Personally, I don't think that's an outfit you'd be wearing if you weren't proud of how you looked.

But I really can't believe someone actually bothered to complain about something so trivial, and I do think if that outfit were on a size 10, I there wouldn't have been any complaints; I'm really surprised and disappointed by that. Not that I can speak on behalf of all of NZ, but I don't know anyone who would have taken offence to her dress (though her taste might have been commented on), or complained about it if they were.

I couldn't imagine trying to find something that would fit well to that shape... Yes, you can have outfits taylored, but perhaps this wasn't afforable for her. Either way, the casino's dress code should be reviewed and made more specific if they are going to uphold these sorts of complaints.

Sorry, but me thinks she was looking for attention in that outfit. Doesn't mean that she should have been thrown out of the place. She was appropriately covered IMHO
