Top Ten Rap Songs White People Love
Top Ten Rap Songs White People Love
When these songs come on, White People look at each other and say "Awwww yeah" or "Hell yeah" and are compelled to sing along. Sometimes there’s also corresponding stupid dance move.

Having studied White People for 27 years, my authority on the topic is absolute; this list is damn near bullet proof. picked by 2manyusernames 1 year ago

I only heard of two, and neither one made me say, "Awwww yeah" or "Hell yeah" we need another list.

Being a white guy I have to say that I really don't like any of those songs (I really hate most rap). Jump Around is about the most tolerable on on the list. I will admit that those are songs that quite a few crackers do like however.

My thought is that those are the songs that we've been told we must like, because they keep playing them all the damn time.

None of my friends seem to actually like the songs, but we're not going to let crappy "music" ruin our evenings when we go out, so we goof around to the songs and sing along if we know any parts. I suspect most people aren't too fond of the songs, but just put up with them.

OK, fess up... have any of you here ever REQUESTED one, or more, of the songs on that list?

Darn it--it keeps doing this to me--showing a null post.

OK...Here's the words.

Can I get a big 'Hell, no'!

The club I go to plays these types of songs, but very few people dance to them. Usually those that ARE dancing are so inebriated they'd dance to anything, up to and including police sirens.

The closest thing to rap I've ever liked was Rapture by Blondie. Yep, I'm an old mofo.

...And you drive all night and then you see a light.
And it comes right down and it lands on the ground.
And out comes the man from Mars.
And you try to run but he's got a gun.
And he shoots you dead and he eats your head.
And then you're in the man from Mars.
You go out at night...eatin' cars.
You eat Cadillacs, Lincolns too.
Mercurys and Subarus.
And you don't stop.
You keep on eatin' cars....

What about Ice-T's Six in the Morning or Cop-Killa or anything off Ice Cube's Predator album, PM Dawn, Cypress Hill's Black Album?

Anyone remember Tipper Gore? She was a popular lady in the world of hip-hop.

I still play Black Sheep's The Choice Is Yours (This Or That).... but hey I'm getting old!

You know what?!

I have every single one of those on my mp3 player. ya know why? they have a good beat.- great to work out to- (except I gotta man, that's just silly)

So, I suppose the poster of those is correct. I do love them.

But c'mon... just because a "white girl" likes them doesn't make them a bad song... they are excellent to bounce to, so what? So are 1000 others.

I know 2 of the songs, don't like any of them, sorry to not be a stereotype?

Oh my sister-in-law likes "jamiroquai". I'm not sure it's rap but it's just as awful, and I tolerate the music/videos for familial harmony, does that count?

I recognized some of those from samples.

And.. don't hate me.. but uh.. I know the words to eight of the songs listed.

But uh.. blame it on me being a kid in the 90's, knowing that I like a good beat, and not being exposed to better music yet.

Ditto! I don't have all of those, but I have several--I have a LOT of rap songs, techno, whatever has a beat that I like. I'm not picky about what it says, who made it or anything. if It makes me feel "bouncy"(and therefore good to run to), I'll download it.

Why are people so discriminate about who listens to what? If you like it, who cares??
