I think about it in this way:

A) Me getting a $500.00 reward for turning it in

or

B) Me getting $20,000.00 that I have to manage not telling the government about and everyday think about the fact that some guard somewhere is most DEFINITELY out of a job because of it.

Most likely someone lost a job over it anyways. I have to admit that even though I don't steal, I don't litter and I try to be a 'good' person, I would have serious difficulty turning in $20k in cold, hard cash.
