When I first read this I though,"EWWWWWWWwwww." But when I thought about it that would be very useful to women who are having trouble producing breastmilk or to babies that have somehow lost thier mother through death or abandonment. Good for her.

LOL! That made me laugh. How frustrating. Now for my two cents on the story.

I had no idea you could sell that stuff-after a screening process. I remember it piling up too. I hated to toss it. It seemed wasteful. And funny thing is, it was free. And some kids don't take a bottle. And some kids ONLY want a bottle. Interesting story. Lucky she only got ONE crank call.

It's simply ridiculous that she's trying to sell it. She can't give it away for a reason...it hasn't been screened. Would you buy blood from someone? To a baby with a young immune system it's virtually the same risk.

And, Breast milk in a household freezer must be consumed before it is 3 mos. old. In a deep freezer you have up to 6 months.

Throw it away.
