If anything, you should fear flying less after reading this. Now you know that even if the engine falls off of your plane, it can still land safely. I think that's pretty damn cool.

Yeah - whilst I echo your point about the story proving how safe air travel really is, I'm not sure that I'd be too sold on the notion of being very safe whilst trapped within some sort of constantly repeating time loop. That would get very old very quickly.
