Inspired by 2Many's comment on Proverb's post, here's a collection of calls made to their 999 team that weren't, as such, emergencies.

I wonder why we don't use 999 in the U.S. and Canada? Seems like it would be easier to dial....or press..or whatever, you're fingers wouldn't have to travel as much. Anyway I'm off to eat my salmon sandwich.

Just tried it now - still working fine.

It's a page that's been around for a while, so unlikely that they'd pull it. There might just have been a spot too much traffic for it to handle.
