Maybe on Sunday is a documentary drama that examines the history of the Christian church and uncovers the surprising origin of many ... all » so-called Christian traditions. It also explores the facts and exposes the myths that impact on those who claim to worship the Creator God.
The dramatic scenario presented illustrates the possible revisiting of religious laws. David Bannister, a farmer, is apprehended for breaking a Sunday Law and travels to Europe to seek help from historian, James Arrabito. They journey throughout Europe to discover the origin of Sunday legislation and learn that the Christian church became two distinct movements. One, a religio/political power that enforced its dogmas, and the other, a movement of faith-driven individuals determined to preserve religious liberty and scriptural integrity.
This 3-part series explores many aspects of Christian politics and its impact on religious freedom today. It also raises the question: Will the history of Christian persecution be repeated in the modern age?
