The World Conservation Union now classifies Sun Bears as being vulnerable to extinction, leaving Brown Bears and American Black Bears as the only two species not to be considered under either vulnerable or endangered.

Brown bears as a species may not be considered even vulnerable, but one of their most wellknown subspecies, Ursus arctos horribilis is sure endangered. [That's the grizzly bear].

I'm curious to see if these bears can adapt to further habitat encroachment and changing climate patterns.
