Brilliant Idea - Keypad Mouse Posted: 1 year ago by 2manyusernames
What a simple yet awesome idea. Combine a 10-key number pad with a mouse. Great for laptops.

Definitely a cool idea, I have a couple computers here at work that only get point, click, add numerical value action. They'd be great for that.

wow this is the worst story i've ever seen you post 2many it is fraut with suckness. I give it an F and so should everyone else. Why simply because its a bad idea. Even if you have a notebook there are still numbers above the letters and if you have to pop open that little plastic thing on top every time you want to type in numbers it's really not going to be very efficient as compared to just using the keyboard the only use would be an application where you needed a mouse and a keypad only but you had a computer but you don't want the bulk of a keyboard but you don't mind the fact that its not a wireless mouse. anyways it might be slightly useful if it didnt have that plastic thing that you have to lift every time you want to type numbers i mean if you can use it that way its not horrible it might have some use really i assure you it could nope its a stupid idea but anyways it blows me away that this story could garner a 170! no way this is a 170 its a crappy ad for a crappy product that should't even exist because it's anti-productive.

I like it. As a grown up I do a lot of home accounting on my laptop and anyone who has had to add up incomings and outgoings to try to make ends meet will know that a lot of the time its a case of number+ number+ number.... and so on, with no mouse action being used at all. Granted when the number work is done the cover could be flipped down and it could used as an average mouse. If you had a small amount of numbers to put in then yeah the numbers at the top of the keypad are fine but try doing that for a few hours and see how easy it is to use a number pad.

I work in excell often and have thought about getting a usb numbpad...

this would solve the space issue.

Brilliant.

Downvote for the hater. Rude.

If you can't say something nice...

If you don't like it don't read it, it's as simple as that. And if you don't like the site, don't come here, nobody's forcing you to visit plime, is there?

I love the number pad and missed it when I had a laptop - but this mouse does not look ergonomic - or remotely comfortable to use.
