This has nothing to do with global warming & everything to do with smog. In the south SF Bay Area (but not in SF) & in Sacramento the smog is really bad on cold winter nights. All the smoke gets trapped by hills. It can be a bad as LA. The coot drinking his wine is making life bad south-east of him. Besides, the ban will only be on spare the air days.
