That's really just awful. It was painful just to read that. I can't imagine anybody going through that. The leaders of this group need to get disappeared.

Cults can really mess people up.

What's sad is that a lot of people are going to blame this on "religion" and equate all organized religion with this cult. This is faulty logic. It's like saying, "The bad brakes in this car caused the death of two people; therefore, we should rid ourselves of all cars."

Sad that he chose to commit suicide, but no one can say he wasn't old enough to make his own decisions.

It's a shame how screwed up some people are. They destroyed this young man's life. I wish he would have found his mother before he offed himself.

"His mother is still the leader of the family. She has not been charged with a crime and lives in seclusion." What an utter miscarriage of justice.

I don't blame "religion" for this. I blame "people who make s**t up to control other people" for this.
