Amazing that this woman is basically claiming her complete innocence in this matter. She says she understands the grief the other parents are feeling. I really don't think she does unless she has lost a child in such a manner. Orchestrating a MySpace "attack" isn't any less mean than any other style of revenge. This would be something a teen would do and not an adult and mother. Another situation where personal responsibility has been thrown to the dogs. The whole thing is sad and she should have just given it a rest (as she told the girl's mother). Sad.

What a b*tch.

If you read the other posts, she was pretending to be a 13 yr. old, AGAIN.

I'm so angry from reading that, I can't even articulate it right now.

I got only halfway through. (If this is indeed her) she start out ok, but she's stating how sympathetic she is and then she calls the girl a monster. No, you're not sympathetic and you're not looking at all your options if everything prior is truth (which also seems suspect).

Options: She could have taken her daughter to counseling. She could have found other activities for her daughter, explained to her that what happens at 13 doesn't stay with you forever, probably not even months. She could have petitioned the neighbors to her cause, or the school or MySpace. She had OPTIONS. Apparently she thought her daughter was normal and innocent, that should have made it easy for her. Regardless of Megan's affliction and her parents alleged lack of response/denial her business was to deal with HER situation, not Megan's.

I cannot read the rest because she's already lost any hope of redemption in my eyes.

Lori Drew deserves what she gets. The girl was 13 yeas old, her daughter's feelings were hurt, she should have dealt with HER child, not someone else's. She helped kill a child.

Personally her side of the story can kiss my ass. What she did was criminal in my mind and she should be charged.

When I was reading that pathetic spiel I found myself wondering what a 1947 Nazi blog would look like.

Dear Lori,

First and foremost, the reason all of this has happened is because you are a liar. Creating a MySpace page under a name that is not your own is a lie, Lori. I'm sure your child learned quite a bit on how to handle adversity. Lie and spread lies, consequences be damned. Pretend to be somone you're not, because the end justifies the means. And then you lied again in your blog. Amazing.

You are evil, Lori. Your daughter was never in physical danger. So your vindictiveness borders on you being a sociopath. Lori, you can't always get what you want in this life. You've caused all this your self by choosing to take this to the extreme. Your sympathy is transparent. If the roles were reveresed and it was your daughter who was dead, you'd have rented billboards proclaiming what this family had done to you.

People like you are sad, Lori. Even trying to justify why you're not at fault makes you look like a fool. Don't fool yourself, Lori, your stomach turning explaination as to why "Megan had it coming" is evil. You are now going to reap what you have sown. Don't look for sympathy, you've brought this on yourself.

Rest in Peace, Megan

She's probably paying for it now, I think. It can't be easy being in the center of all this negative attention. Or maybe she likes it. I don't know her.

I'll save you all some reading.

What a terrible thing that
bullying was rampant on MySpace, and there were very few, if any, legal options for people being harassed.
What a wonderful thing when
the investigation was over. No charges would be filed. We were relieved.
Megan is dead because
I shared Megan's messages with everyone involved and encouraged everyone to stand up against her
But when it comes to us
The internet has made it clear that mob revenge must prevail, even if there's no justice in it.
In other words, "Poor us! What's sauce for the goose is not sauce for the gander."

She's just a kid. She doesn't deserve these brutal verbal attacks.
It's not okay for others to 'verbally attack' her daughter, but it is okay for her to 'verbally attack' someone else's daughter.

Fortunately, that prank didn't go far, and neither did her latest attempted prank on my daughter.
She explains how terrible of a prank it is, yet then goes and replicates it in? Hypocrite.

That's when I decided I would have to teach Megan a lesson and give her a taste of her own medicine.
Because thats the adult thing to do. </sarcasm>
What is she, 13 herself?

Yes, Megan suffered from depression, but she was always laughing and smiling when we were on vacations, or at sleep overs.
Clearly someone doesn't understand depression.

I kept the truth from the Meier family because there was simply no reason to come forward.
Oh well obviously. I was the reason your daughter was rushed to the hospital, but, there's no reason you need to know that.

Instantly I knew we were dealing with unbalanced people.
Because it is expected for people to be perfectly stable whose daughter just hung herself. OK.

After the investigation, Tina made it clear she wasn't going to let this go.
You lead to my daughters suicide! I forgive you.

I can't believe there won't be charges pressed.

This woman is going to hell.

In then end she is an adult and she should have acted like an adult and known better. Pretending to be a high schooler to get back at someone is childish, not to mention creepy. She is responsible for her actions, whether she thinks so or not. She should also know that teenage girls are sensitive creatures and bullying is a very serious matter. I hope her daughter does not grow up to be like her mother.

whatever happened to kids working it out...whether it be a fight in the playground or just avoidance. when i was a kid if someone said something bad enough to really piss some one off they got what was coming to them...personally.

if everyone knew that megan was this way why did anyone put any value on what she said? this story is messed up and this has to be the most f-ed up way to deal with two kids not liking each other.

rumors have been around forever, the means with which kids deal with and end them however is apparently changing.

There is nothing in this blog that couldn't have been written by someone that read the story on the news. I can't think of any reason why Lori Drew would give a crap about what the world leaves as Blog comments, and whoever wrote this is probably more sick than the real woman.

I wanted Megan to get a taste of what she had been dishing out this whole time. But I didn't want it to go as far as it did ... We didn't know Megan was going to do what she did. If we knew it was going to end like that, I wouldn't have started this whole thing. I had no intention for Megan to be so drastic. I wanted her to learn a lesson so she could be a better person. I didn't want her to die.
If you set out with a malicious intention ... expect the worst. Always.
