What they didn't tell you is that right after that picture was taken, that whale ate the kid's face off. Truly tragic.

The polar bear pic was so cute!

Image 49 (the one with combat boots representing everyone who died in Iraq) made me think, "So what?"

If you used a marble to represent each Iraqi civilian killed in the war, you could fill every pair of boots there.

So what? This is the value that you put on a loss of life? So What?

Regardless of who died, I fail to see how this became a contest. It was in memory of military men and women who lost their lives. If you would like to do something in memory of the civilians that have died, why <i>don't</i> you take a picture of a bunch of boots filled to the brim with marbles and display it as such. To discount the death of others is, in my opinion, not only distasteful but uncalled for.

All lives lost in this war were tragic.
