Why keep that information secret when you could be immortalized as "the dude" who found Bin Laden.

HA! Apparently he accomplished what the US's billion dollar intelligence dept. has been claiming it's been doing for the past 6 years. I wouldn't doubt it.

I hope he interviewed him, I would be extremely interested in hearing what he would have to say, instead of listening to an interpretation of some audio recording from a mysterious source found who knows where.

Why? How? Assuming he did find Osama I'm sure going back to that location wouldn't even reveal so much as the remains of a fire pit. The guy doesn't stay lost by hanging out in the same cave every night.

So you think he happened across him while cave hopping? No, this man has connections, and those connections have connections, etc. Any little bit of information gleaned could help find him.

That is, assuming the government really wanted to, but since this administration really did protect Bin Laden's family immediately after 9/11 (one of the few parts of the conspiracists argument that hasn't and cannot be denied, because it's fact) it's likely that they aren't REALLY looking for him all that much.
