Very well-written announcement. He still maintains his humor.

I met Mr Pratchett once, he was doing a talk on his newest book (which was Nightwatch at the time) in our local library. I had asked the librarian if they had a copy and was told they only had one but it would be available soon. I hung around and then the man himself came and said "I believe you were looking for this?" I told him if he was looking to borrow it I would wait until he returned it, but he insisted saying that he had a copy at home.

I thought this was downright rude of a man to be using a library copy of a book when he had a perfectly good copy at home and promptly told him so.

At this point I noticed people around me begin to smirk and then I realised who he was and felt very foolish indeed.

I took the book checked it out and left quickly.

Still feel kinda silly as I never spoke to him or asked him for autographs and suchlike.

That's it. No more kidding around. We need viable Alzheimer's treatments f***ing NOW!

What are the laws in the UK for using stem cells? Let's get some inside Terry's head.
