 Inside The Church of Scientology
Inside The Church of Scientology
This is a pretty revealing and frightening interview with the son of the founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, Jr.

"Scientology and all the other cults are one-dimensional, and we live in a three-dimensional world. Cults are as dangerous as drugs. They commit the highest crime: the rape of the soul." picked by mahler87 2 years ago

at first i thought, "this isn't scary. it's bulls**t."

but then i started thinking about it, and it is quite scary. do people really want answers so bad they'll believe any sort of crap that comes their way?

a science fiction novelist? really? you really want me to believe that AND give you my money?

f**k you.

I'm always shocked that people don't know old L. Ron wrote science fiction before he realized the real money was in starting a "religion".

I came dangerously close to getting involved in Scientology when I was younger. Fortunately, I got some good information about them and ended up never giving them any money.

The fact that I was fairly broke at the time might have had something to do with why they didn't dig their claws into me, though.

This is the first PentHouse article I've bothered to read. I can't believe they allowed so many typos into their publication.

wow. I'm surprised Larry Flint wasn't in cahoots with these folks too. Interesting read. I think what "scared me" was in the end, the son said he'd do it all over again and how much fun they had. Still no real evidence of remorse or a "soul" himself.

eep!

and ditto on the typos comment.

Um ... don't blame Penthouse for the typos; blame the OCR software that was used to scan the article.
