You would think that the ridicule of the masses would be enough to deter them.

I live in virginia and I actually saw one of these yesterday. The string that was holding them on to the trailer hitch broke and they were dragging on the ground.

I said "Ha, his balls are draggin on the ground"

my mom didn't think that was a funny comment

It made me laugh, but if one of my children had said it, it probably wouldn't have the same effect. Oh well. I just moved from VA, so either this is in a whole other part from where I lived, or it is new fad. Darn, I missed out.
