I love Ender's Game, but I'd be hard pressed to think that it will translate to other medium's with the grit that it truly deserves. A lot of stuff that's possible in books, isn't in mainstream movies simply because it's two different audiences. As you can see from my screen name, I am a huge fan, and my 5 year old son is truly named Ender.

I am very leery of a movie...I doubt that I want to be subjected to someone else's vision of the story. However, I am very open to the concept of a video game. If done correctly, I think it could be an incredible gaming experience. Just imagine manuvering in the vast battle room and working on varying strategies for your 'toons' as was done in the book. And, to top it off, it should be a game that the whole family can play...not blood and guts like so many out there that I steer my son away from.

Actually I thought Shadow was an original twist on an old favorite. And I enjoyed the others in the series as well but froma completely different angle. They were good Scifi in their own right, even if they were pretty much completely detached from the story, plot, and feel of the original 'Game'
