A team of experts has unearthed an 800-year-old cellar under a central Berlin car park which they say dates the city back to the 12th century...Wait, does the car park date back to the 12th century? Because that seems...impossible.

Or does the 800 year old cellar date back to the 12th century? Because that seems...self evident.

Oh, wait. This is the 21st century...so 800 years ago would have been the 13th century. So, the 800 year old cellar dating back to the 12th century seems like...faulty math.

[reads the article] OH, the cellar is approx 815 years old, and this being 2007, that works out to the 12th century.
