Mysterious Man gives a Mysterious Gift Posted: 7 months ago by MuppetmakeR
A Couple sitting at a local bar they frequent is approached by a man who questioned if they had children. Indeed they did, so he sat down, and offered them a blank check with the opportunity to write any amount they wanted. The couple scribed $100,000 and it was theirs. Under 2 conditions.

Man, if I had known that one of the conditions was that I would have to build/buy a house, I'd have written that bad boy for at least $500,000. Drat!

Question is why alert the media?
Doing so will create problems for themselves.
I also hope that they report it on their taxes now that it is public knowledge.

Wait until they find out what it costs to build a house...not to mention taxes on new homes are outrageous. In 5 years they'll be bankrupt, living in a cardboard box with 3 kids including their 4 year old baby girl named Barry.

There are better people to give the money to, I think. That family seemed decently well off. The man should have donated it to some kind of charity, in my opinion.

The waving, sign-holding crazies in the background at the beginning of the video are annoying.
That's cool though. Good for them :)

They didn't exactly come across as upper-middle class to me. Sure, they're all cleaned up and in pastels, but of course you're going to look good when you're going on TV.

I used to know a guy who did something along these lines.
The reason was that he was dying of cancer and had no descendants to leave his money too, so he gave it away whilst he lived to people he liked.
