Arson suspect says sorry for torching Korean treasure
A South Korean pensioner on Friday re-enacted entering a 600-year-old gate designated the country's top treasure and setting it on fire, saying he was sorry that the gate was gone, but adding that no one was hurt by his actions.

My mom (korean) told me about this.
Needless to say, I was pissed off.

This gate was one of korea's most prominent landmarks. It'd be kind of like someone bombing ol' Teddy's face on Mt. Rushmore because he got paid less out of a contract than what he thought.

The fact that he's excusing himself is despicable.
