This is clearly a sign of a prepubescent boy being tormented by his older a*****e brother. Perhaps he is quite fond of myspace and at that age, you get pretty into what is "cool." The fact that he is belittled for something he likes to such an extent is pretty effed up on the brother's part. Say what you will about his screeching and his tantrums, when he is made fun of and ganged up on by his older brother + friends, I wouldn't expect much less.
It is pretty sad. In the grand scheme of things, this should mean nothing to him; however, this will be something that he remembers for the rest of his life.

Umm no. Siblings torment each other, they make fun of each others crushes, classes, friends and everything else they value, and they get over it or call each other names and go back to whatever they were doing.
This is not a case of normal sibling rivalry, this is some crazy psychotic behavior that could use some therapy.
If that was my little brother, my hand would across the backside of his head so fast. I would never tolerate him screaming, insulting, pushing or hitting any member of our family. You don't treat people like that and it should never be allowed in the house, period. Doesn't matter if your teased, learn sarcasm. It's both far more fulfilling and effective than... that.
I agree, his older brother shouldn't torment him. He should handle it with all seriousness and lay down some legendary authoritah. Yell, don't yell, whatever. Laughing about it is only shying away from the responsibility of handling the situation and one twisted kid.
I wouldn't necessarily say they got a kick out of tormenting him. Listen to the laugh, there's a small tint of nervousness. Laughter is a natural mechanism for releasing tension. Try the staring into a friends eye intently. Got the urge to laugh? Your body is trying to convey a natural message trying to relieve any perceived tension caused by staring by saying "I mean you know harm." People laugh off arguments not because they think it's funny, but they just don't want to deal with the tension. These boys were laughing off the tension because the only real alternative was directly dealing with it, which they didn't want to do. It was cowardice rather than cruelty.
I don't mean to sound old, but where the hell are the parents in all of this!!!????? I think that brother should start locking his door at night. That kid is going to go him with a knife. What an a**hole thing to do to a kid. He should be ashamed. If the kid needs therapy, he should be the one who pays for it. Torture can have nasty side-effects.
