I'm not sure how you guys can think of something as spam or not. A previous link I submitted was voted down because it was thought that I submitted my own content or something. I'm new here so I'm not sure how things exactly work.

In theory, if you post it and its not yours, it won't get downvoted.

In reality, there is a small group of power plimers who most of the decisions. For example, it took the upvotes of several people, to get this article back in the black after one or two big downvotes.

Thanks for clearing that up.. the question is though:
how can they tell if it is mine or not... this one is obviously a craigslist post and I promise you that is not me in there.. how did they decide that it was my content and that it's spam? seems a bit unfair to me.

Simplest way is not to link to blogs. I know that sounds harsh but once you have been around for a while you will realise that Plime is a community where lots of people know one another. It is impossible to tell if a blog is yours or not until we get to know you. Don't be put off and welcome to Plime.
