Smart Drinker

At least, that was when I could drink. Now I'm the default DD.

Like Sparkly, I'm apparently a smart drinker:

Simply put, the Smart Drinker knows their limit. They know when to slow down, and when enough is enough. They have the ability to withstand the pressure of others who urge them to drink more – the courage to turn down that shot of Tequila. They drink frequently, but will rarely get sick after a night out, and have just as much fun as anyone else who is drinking. They have also stayed clear of any drinking related tickets.
I dispute that though.

I've never knowingly turned down tequila. Perhaps the only times I've ever done that have been because been too drunk to pick the glass up.

Rare Drunk
A sighting of Bigfoot, a UFO flying through the sky, a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster, getting hammered with the Rare Drunk; they all have one thing in common: they are not likely to happen, and when they do, it’s very unexpected. What makes the Rare Drunk unique is that no matter how frequently they drink, you will rarely see them get drunk.

Interesting. I am a "smart drinker" according to the test, however people hardly ever think I'm drunk even when I'm really messed up. I have an extremely high "learned tolerance" meaning even when my BAC is high, I am able to compensate for it mentally. (yes this is a real phenomenon)

I know what you mean. I am a fairly heavy drinker. I drink heavy when I go out with friends but I always maintain myself.

I bartended for a while and customers want to do shots with you all night. By the end of my shift I probably have done at least 10 shots. I then have to count my drawer and since I was also the a manager many times I had to do all of the cocktail waitresses checkouts and then go upstairs and do the office paperwork. Usually by this time I am also starting to drink beer. My money and paperwork and office work were always perfect. Most people that have drunk this much would not be able to see straight and I am able to do perfect math with large sums of money.

The thing with bartenders is many of them can drink anyone else under the table.

I have also been the person people always want on their team if playing drinking games. If they are unable to do their drinks I usually am.

My problem is that I am able to maintain myself for quite a while, but I have an almost specific point where my body seems to flip a switch and then tumble into incoherence.

I will be talking to someone one minute and holding a good conversation with them until I maybe drink a shot or something and then all of a sudden I start talking gibberish.

That's why the driving laws are tied to BAC. Doesn't matter what your tolerance is.

I'm a sober drinker, whatever that means. I had to fudge on some of the questions because while never wasn't truthful, neither was the next option.

but then I think some of the questions are unfair. I'd be an illegal driver most nights, as I'll happily have a couple or 3 glasses of wine most evenings.

Once every month (29.531 days to be exact), the full moon causes high/low tides, increase in child birth, increase in crime, werewolves, and Lunar Drunkness. A Lunar Drunk is basically anyone that gets drunk only once every moon cycle.
uhh...
