Down with Ralph
Down with Ralph
For all their differences, there's one thing that the presidents of NYU's College Democrats and College Republicans can agree on.

They both say Ralph Nader should not be running for president. picked by gammerus 8 months ago

All the green party people I've met were certainly more liberal democrat types than anything so I agree that these are people who would otherwise vote for Hillary/Obama.

All the green party people I've met were also bats**t crazy. Just sayin...

I do disagree with the articles contention that a 3rd party is bad no matter what. There is the potential that a 3rd party could better represent the will of the people it just hasn't been that vehicle in the past per say.

"The Democrats ought to look themselves in the mirror and ask themselves why they have not been able to landslide the worst Republican Party and the White House and Congress over the last 20 years," he said.
The democrats can't win and they look for a scapegoat. Never addressing their problems, never getting any better, never any new ideas. Blah blah blah

I said it before and I will say it again... BAD, BAD RALPH...

If the Republicans win the White House in November, I will personally hunt Nader down and feed him his own sack.

So its better for Americans to have fewer choices for representation? It's better that the American people have their interests represented by only two sides, black/white, red/blue? If an individual runs for president and a citizen votes for them because they feel that candidate is the best choice to represent them and the country as a whole, you're saying that the candidate and voter have done a bad thing?

I think the whole idea of a spoiler candidate is nonsensical. If a candidate cant win against their competition based on their own merits then they simply don't deserve to win.

I personally would love to see a presidential ticket of McCain/Obama with Nader as Secretary of Labor.

If I was held at gunpoint and forced to chose between Democrats and Republicans I would choose the Dems. If only to have better gun control and avoid such a situation in the future.
