PACE University student, Stanislav Shmulevich flushed a Koran down a toilet. At first he was charged with vandalism, but after pressure from Muslim groups and the wacked-out PC crowd he is not being charged with multiple felonies and hate crimes. (Click on embedded links for more info)

First Muslim elected to congress facing criticism for wanting to have a picture taken of him being "sworn in" with his hand on the Koran
the reason i put "sworn in" in quotes is because the picture is taken after being officially sworn in. so placing his hand on the Koran for the picture is just for media use and carries no official merit.
