Because this dog was the size of a cat, they'd say &quot;Oh, Shy, quit being a little rascal.&quot;  Thanks, I'm bleeding now and it gets a treat for being tough??  By contrast, my other neighbours had a big ol' Rottie that would only approach us if a fight broke out during street hockey - she'd try to break it up.  I think that's why I still strongly dislike little dogs - because they're small, bad behavoir can go uncorrected or encouraged.  <br/><br/>When I buy a house, I'm getting a Rottie, though. My neighbor had an extremely mean rotweiler. He would escape his yard and not let people in or out of their houses. He ended up &quot;playing&quot; with my guinea pig one morning. When I finally move into a place that will let me have a big dog I plan on getting a big black one. I prefer large dogs, most likely because I grew up around them. I always feel like I going to break the little toy ones. My parents had a large black shepherd-chow mix.
