Then Carrie notices that it wasn't even Arthur's ancestors, but someone else's with a similar but not exact name.

So Arthur wants his money back and Duncan says no. So Arthur decides to ask Duncan to do some work around the house to make up for the money he gave him..like slavery.

I honestly can't really see the point. It's great that he traced back his family history, but how many years must go by before we can move past the whole slavery thing? How long before we can look at each other and see "human" rather than "descendant of a slave-owner" and "descendant of a slave"?That's pretty much what exactly they've done.
