In all fairness they said he didn't act creepy beforehand, which is pretty usual.

Yeah, he said "He never showed any signs of being creepy in that kind of way," which is no kind of endorsement of his behavior, like the post suggests. He was saying they had no indication he was such a creep.

The police, it would seem, are being very cagey at the moment. The only additional info I could find was that cameras had been found in a locker room.

This suggests that there is something that they don't want revealed yet, such as he had an accomplice who turned him in, or that this arrest is part of a larger operation.

Just speculating though.
